International Thespian Society

The International Thespian Society (ITS), founded in 1929, is an honorary organization for high school and middle school theatre students located at more than 4,600 affiliated secondary schools across America and abroad. The mission of ITS is to honor student achievement in the theatre arts. High school inductees are known as Thespians and junior high/middle school inductees are known as Junior Thespians. ITS is a division of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA).
Falcon Theater Traditions
A tradition is a system of beliefs or behaviors passed down within a group of people or society with symbolic meaning or special significance with origins in the past. They are a component of cultural expressions and lore. The Falcon Theater program is steeped in rich traditions with which the members within carry long past their short tenure at TCHS.
Awards & Honors
Falcon Theatre has built a proud legacy of recognition across UIL competitions and district award ceremonies celebrating entire casts/crews, as well as, individual artistry, technical achievement, and theatrical leadership. Theatre students have consistently earned distinction at the UIL numerous levels. The program also garners accolades at the annual Keller ISD Kelley Awards, with multiple nominations and wins for cast, crew, design, and direction. In addition, the Booster Club supports students through theater scholarships highlighting excellence in stagecraft and academics.
